Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and how developers use the documentation and examples. It measures page views, device and browser information, approximate location, and selected interactions.
Our custom events record visits to setup guides and examples, clicks to GitHub and NuGet, and successful copying of installation commands. They do not send the copied code, clipboard contents, names, or email addresses. Page URLs sent by our configuration exclude query strings and fragments.
Google Analytics uses cookies when you allow it. Google processes analytics data under its Privacy Policy. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals in the site's configuration.
Change your choice
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to allow or decline analytics. The site remembers your choice in local storage. Before you allow analytics, and after you decline, our analytics integration sends no events to Google.
Declining stops future collection by this integration and removes this site's Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google.
Other site storage
The site also stores your light or dark theme preference locally. This is separate from optional analytics.
